Our kittens are sold as indoor pets to qualified homes. From time to time show/breed quality kittens may be available. Birmans can be trained to walk on a harness and leash for supervised walks in their owner’s garden. We do not sell kittens to homes where cats will be free to roam outdoors unless they will be kept in covered cat runs or enclosures while outside.

Having had both indoor and outdoor cats ourselves, we know that the dangers of letting cats roam are simply too great to endanger our beloved Birman kittens.
Birmans are very trusting and attractive cats and like to follow anyone they see. This is part of their appeal indoors as they follow you from room to room in the house, “helping” with everything you do. Outdoors though, they will not be able to fend for themselves and up against traffic or roaming cats, most of which are not vaccinated and may carry serious and life threatening diseases, will come off a poor second.

Our kittens go to their new homes at about 12 weeks of age, vaccinated, and with a kitten pack of information and a few items to get started. South Australia does not require micro-chipping, however, it is up to new owners for cats going interstate to ensure they comply with local regulations. Your veterinarian can advise of requirements in your state.
