Khusi Birmans
is a small cattery by the
sea in Brighton, a seaside
suburb of Adelaide, South
Australia, registered with
the GCCFSA and FASA. Khusi
Birmans is feline enteritis
and feline respiratory disease
(FR and FC) free and is tested
Chlamydia, feline leukaemia
and FIV (feline aids) free.
‘Khusi’ is
a Nepalese word meaning ‘happy’ and
is the pet name of our lovely
blue point foundation queen,
Bronze Gd. Ch. Shakandah Krystal
Rose. Since temperament
is a primary goal of our Birman
breeding program, we hope
all our kittens, raised indoors
as family members, will be
fitting ambassadors of the ‘Khusi’ prefix.

We specialise in blue, lilac and cream points including torties and tabbies. We are striving for quality rather than quantity in our litters and our cats are well loved family pets rather than a business.
Pictured
above, sharing the upper hammock
in their ‘mini caboodle’ enclosure, are our foundation resident cats, Paddington Blu (blue tabby point), Bailey O Cream (cream tabby point) and Khusi (blue point). Pictured
below, is Paddington Blu with
his son from Khusi's first
litter.

Pictured below are our new additions Gd. Ch. Shakandah Delancy (stud, left) and our own Khusi Kit Willow Blue (queen, right).
